Camp Meeker
This beautifully designed and well-crafted Colorado cabin is located at the base of Mt. Meeker and is adjacent to Rocky Mountain National Park. The vacation home, situated on land purchased in the 1950s, is shared by multiple generations of the same family and is fully inspired by it’s natural surroundings.
Conceptualized and meticulously designed by the incomparable Renée del Gaudio Architecture, this home showcases unobstructed views of the mountainous and forested landscape enveloping the site, all through it’s careful placement of large-frame windows and full glass doors.
The design principles established with the clients were clearly stated: Clarity of Idea, Unpretentious, Humble, Raw, Craft and Uncomplicated.
In deep collaboration with the clients, architect and talented builder, Dan Flohrs of Coburn Partners, great care and attention to detail went into each element of the millwork so that it seamlessly integrates into the architecture.
The result: a treasure chest of exceptional teamwork and quality craftsmanship that will stand the test of time and allow future generations to continue telling their family story.
